Service · Annex bay

The tyre annex that reads the tread, not your wallet.

The annex next door handles tyres, alignment, balancing and rotation. Same workshop, same prices on parts. Different room because four-poster alignment racks are loud.

What's on the menu

  • 4-wheel laser alignment with printed before / after readings
  • Computerised tyre balancing on Hofmann equipment
  • Tyre rotation following the manufacturer's pattern
  • Patch and plug repairs for sidewall-safe punctures
  • New tyre fitting from Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear and Yokohama
  • TPMS sensor diagnostics and battery replacement
  • Nitrogen top-up and pressure audit

Why alignment matters more than people think

The car park exit kerb you brushed in March is the reason your steering pulls left in October. Bad alignment shaves the inner shoulder off a Bridgestone Turanza in twelve thousand kilometres. We check toe, camber and caster on all four wheels — most workshops do the front only. The print-out goes home with you.

When to rotate, when to replace

  1. Rotation: every 8,000 to 10,000 km. We follow the front-to-rear and cross pattern your owner's manual specifies.
  2. Replacement: 1.6 mm legal minimum, but we recommend planning at 3 mm so you choose the model and pay a fair price.
  3. Sidewall damage, bulges, cracking from age (5+ years), or repeated punctures in the shoulder — replace, not repair.

What our quote looks like

Tyre price + valve + balancing + fitting + alignment. Sometimes a TPMS reset fee if the car has it. That's the whole list. There is no "nitrogen package", no "premium fitting" line item, no "rubber disposal eco fee" tucked under the tax row. The price you see is the price you sign.

Steering pulls? Steering wheel off centre? It's not the road.

Send a photo of the tyre wear pattern. We'll diagnose remotely, then quote alignment and any parts the camber needs.
